Based on your history, I would recommend sticking with Xiaomi phones. Changing to IOS can be a challenge for some and the premium price for the iPhone is of questionable value. I would not consider the AI features of any phone as a criteria for purchase.

You can add memory and swap your current storage device to a higher capacity one. You really can't do anything else, nor make Windows 11 compatible (fully). I recommend you save for a modern, more capable laptop. There are many affordable options available.

The CPU is not Windows 11 compatible. It lacks the security features necessary. There are workarounds to bypass these requirements, but performance is going to be dismal. At a minimum, you would need to upgrade your memory and storage space. This where the cost to do so questions whether to do...

I would not run Win 11 on that ancient laptop, even with the workarounds to do so. Especially with only 4GB of memory. There is not a 32-bit version of Win 11, only 64-bit, by the way, in case you are running 32-bit now.

What is the make/model of the laptop? Are you currently using a m.2 or SATA SSD? What is your planned budget for the SSD upgrade?

Given the age and the cost of upgrading memory and the SSD, I would not recommend spending money on this old system. Rather, I would pit that money against a new, modern, much more effective and efficient model.

No doubt. But as you know, details matter. Without information from the OP, not much can be offered beyond (maybe) more memory and (maybe) swap in SSD to replace HDD....Or, do nothing and save $$$ for a new, more capable system.
